Final Finish - Black Bear

He'll soak in a bath for a little while tonight and then he's off in the mail tomorrow. Finally! :)

Next up - and a finish (almost)

Next up is Miss Mary Mack - she's been neglected lately because of bear but she's been calling to me lately and I'd like to finish her up next. I worked some on the inner border and the last 'black' and part of the dress today.

And here's bear; I say 'almost' finished because I have backstitching to do still on the outer and inner border (that won't take too long) and then he can have a bath and be mailed on Friday. This is the last of the charity stitching for awhile I swear that I'm not going to look at the Love Quilts website for another month or two I just can't say no, y'know? Oh, and Charlie at the Pitt was showing this off today and said to another customer 'Have you seen this isn't it great? His name is Charlie'. lol I said, 'Nope you're not getting this one it's getting mailed Friday.' Patterns online has another Stoney Creek design with another version of the bear I might stitch for Charlie; I just can't 'bear' to stitch this one over again. Gotta love Walmart. ;) Now I could've gotten a tripod for $20 to steady the camera but did I? Course not. Brand spankin' new hp three in one. The old printer's not even six months old. Oh well, Norman needs a new printer anyway.

I think I'll see what else I can scan that I haven't looked at for awhile. That might get me in the mood to work on some old WIPs.

No more blurry progress pics as of Friday. Honestly I don't think it's me anymore I think the camera just sucks the juice out of the battery after one picture and after that blursville. Anyway, the last set from the digicam:

First Seth's bear. He's still a zombie but I'm diligently working on that and his face should be finished this week:


And the other project I'm focusing on the beach SAL. The seahorse has a head; but no worries he should be finished tonight unless we get ANOTHER busy night like last night. I wish I could figure it out - all kinds of calls until exactly 945pm and then absolutely nothing. And it wasn't the same csrs calling or anything, just weirdness. And yeah that is a seahorse in the long box to the left - I'll try to get a better pic when he's finished.

Here's Seth's Black Bear. This one can be found on Patternsonline.com. It's a Stoney Creek design and you can find it by searching 'black bear'. (I can't believe I'm actually too lazy to post a link for you).

This one is the Enchanted Fabrics I ordered for TWs The Castle; Dragon Mist Flair. I still ordered Daybreak as well, but so far I like this one the best.

For some reason I can't find Cowboy Roy at the moment who is finished so I'll have to post that later.


That's it so far this week - I'm still debating on fabric for TWs The Castle; thought I had one but changed my mind; now it's between Crossed Wing's Daybreak and Enchanted Fabrics Dragon Mist Flair. And who knows once I get those I might be on to something else. I don't usually have this problem with being wishy washy with fabric but I am with this project for some reason. I'll let you know as soon as I make a final decision.
