Why is it....

....that when you put a self imposed deadline on a project it ends up taking longer than it normally would have? Of course I mean Four Seasons Sampler. I ended up using the wrong color in the inner border so I frogged that last night. Had to go to the LNS because 3047 was nowhere to be found and it just so happens she was having a 33% off sale this week. So I ended up with Ginny Morrow's Nova, and the January and February Baubles by SamSarah Designs. These were just too cute to pass up. While there I got the rest of the floss and Krienik for 12 Days as well. I should be pretty cross stitched up for awhile. I think I'm going to concentrate on stocking up on fabric this year for the stash I already have. Yeah, we'll see how long that plan lasts.....

No Final Finish

For 2007 - I'll just have the first finish for 2008 tomorrow. I've been concentrating on Four Seasons Sampler; I'll post a pic tomorrow and then I'll work on Cirque (or restart it rather) and decide what I'm going to work on next. Besides Cirque I'll need a small project and another medium project like Four Seasons. And before I forget - HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!

Four Seasons Sampler

My first progress pic of Andrle's Four Season's Sampler. I'm enjoying this one - after I figured out that one set of flower should be mauve and the other lavender - after I made them all lavender of course. :) Needless to say frogging ensued. I should have the border finished by next weekend.
